Day 1: Marangu Gate (1860m) to Mandara Hut (2700m)

You will be gathered from your lodging in Arusha or Moshi and taken to the Marangu door. Day 3: Horombo Hut (3700m) to Kibo Hut (4700m)

Today is “The Big Day” – the highest point stage. You will start your last rising around 12 PM which will be long and arduous. Passing the Hans Meyer Cave at 5220m, the trip gradually goes upwards. At dawn, you will arrive at Gillman’s Point (5681m) – the cavity edge of Kilimanjaro – where the sun will gradually begin to heat up the land. You will have before long overlooked the cold of the night and after a further climb of 1 – 2 hours, you will reach Uhuru Peak at 5895m.
